I'm just gonna jump right into it, I love pooltoys. They're soft but not fuzzy, squishy but they don't collapse (unless you manage to pop them, which is difficult to do unintentionally), and they have the same appeal as plushies, but they're something I prefer both for sensory reasons and for value reasons.

If you saw the links to this page I posted on Bluesky or Discord, you may have noticed the image to the right pop up, and you may have wondered: "What's up with that?"

Well, her name is Cyla, and I love her. She was my very first pooltoy, and she's still going strong to this day. I always keep her in bed to cuddle with, much like the plushies I still keep on my bed just in case.

Pooltoys have been a great decompression tool for me, and as of now I have 4 pooltoys of varying sizes: Cyla (the wolf), Hugo (the corgi), Dmitri (the fox), and Shamu (the whale).

Pooltoys are also usually a bit cheaper than comparable plushies, you can either get a $885 USD PlushLife Shepherd or a $435 USD WetNose Squeak fox. Both are high-end offerings for different kinds of toys.
